Career Centre Evaluation: A Practitioner’s Guide – Introducing our project blog
Dear CACEE educator members:
Working in partnership with the Canadian Education & Research Institute for Counselling (CERIC), I am a member of a project team who is creating a new online tool to help university career centres plan and carry out evaluation. Because many people have expressed interest in staying up-to-date with the progress (and results) of this project, we have created a project blog.
A great strength of a blog is that it can allow communication to flow in both directions. The blog will be a simple way for those interested to receive project updates, but it will also allow you to ask questions and provide ideas and suggestions - which we hope will improve the relevance and quality of the final results of the project.
The blog will
- provide an introduction to the project, its objectives and timelines
- share project updates as we progress through the development of the Guide
- share new resources – as we discover new evaluation resources along the way (e.g. articles, training), we will share them with you there
- ask for your questions and input – we want to make sure the final Guide is targeted to the needs of the people who will use it, so along the way we will pose questions to you, and we welcome any comments and input.
